ISO 9000 is now the most internationally recognized Quality Management System standards. By providing a proven framework for taking a systematic approach to assist organizations in the establishment and implementation of a quality management system, ISO 9000 takes into consideration the needs and expectations of customers. The following courses are designed to facilitate organizations in understanding the requirements of ISO 9000:2000 Standards and implementing the system in a more effective and efficient manner.

IRCA Approved ISO 9000:2000 Lead Auditor Training Course (5 DAYS)
Objectives: This course enables delegates to acquire the skills as a lead auditor to conduct both internal audit and third-party audit, to prepare audit checklists, to plan and conduct assessments, reports and follow up on the audit result. It is designed for the delegates who are experienced in implementing and auditing quality systems.

Selection criteria, responsibilities & registration of auditor

Certificates: Delegates who successfully complete the course and pass the written examination will be issued a Certificate of Successful Completion by IRCA which fulfils the training requirements for IRCA Lead Auditor.

IRCA Approved ISO 9000:2000 Internal Quality System Auditor Training Course (2 DAYS)
Objectives: This course enables delegates to acquire the principles and techniques necessary for conducting an internal audit of their own companies, preparing audit checklists, planning and conducting internal audits, reporting and follow-up of the audit result. It is designed for the delegates who have general awareness on ISO 9000 quality management system.

Note: This course does not cover interpretations of ISO 9001:2000 requirements. Delegates who are not familiar with the requirements should attend QMS/3 first.

Outline: Concepts of quality, quality assurance, and quality management
An overview of ISO 9000:2000 version
Responsibilities of an internal auditor
Objective collection and analysis of evidence
Evaluation and report of internal audit results
Planning and organizing internal audit against documented procedures

Certificates: Delegates who successfully complete the course and pass the continuous assessment will be issued a Certificate of Successful Completion by IRCA which fulfils the training requirements for IRCA Internal Auditor.

IRCA Approved ISO 9001:2000 Implementation and Standard Interpretation (1 DAY)
Objectives: This course enables delegates to acquire general awareness of ISO 9001:2000 version, understand the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 Standards and the changes compared to the existing ISO 9001:1994 Standards. It also covers the key elements for the implementation and transition period for certification. It is designed for the executives, managers or quality professionals who are responsible for or are involved in implementing ISO 9000:2000.

IRCA Approved ISO 9000:2000 Transition Auditor Training Course (2 DAYS)
Objectives: This course enables delegates to understand the underlying philosophy and principles, concepts and requirements of the ISO 9000:2000 series of Standards and their application within an auditing context, and the key differences between the standards of the revised version and the 1994 version. The delegates will also understand the implications of these differences for effective auditing against the revised Standards. It is designed for the delegates who have knowledge and competency of ISO 9000 audit, and wish to upgrade the knowledge in revised principles and requirements of ISO 9000:2000 Standards.

Quality Management System Documentation (1 DAY)
Objectives: This course provides delegates with practical workshops to acquire the core skills and competency for building confidence and practice to compile ISO 9000:2000 Quality Management System documents. It shows delegates how to prepare and maintain a detailed documentation system. It is designed for those who have to establish Quality Management System documents, which fulfill ISO 9000:2000 documentation requirements.

ISO 9000:2000 Advanced Training Program (7 DAYS)
Objectives: ISO 9000 is now the most recognized Quality Management System Standard. It provides a proven framework for taking a systematic approach to manage your business process and to ensure your business success. This program is designed to assist organizations to implement the quality system more effectively with the professional insight given by the tutor from an auditor’s point of view. The program content is divided into two modules as follows.

Outline: Module One: Practical Tools for ISO 9000:2000 Implementation (4 DAYS)

  1. Boosting Your Business Performance with QMS
  2. Developing a Meticulous QMS Documentation
  3. Effective Internal Auditing Skills for QMS

Module Two: Gap Analysis (3 DAYS)

  1. Document Review (1 Day)
    It will be conducted on-site at each delegate’s organization to facilitate the organization in developing documentation that are in compliance with ISO 9000 Standard.
  2. Performance Review (2 Days)
    It will be conducted on-site at each delegate’s organization to assess and analyze the existing implementation process in order to facilitate organization in the implementation of a quality management system in accordance with ISO 9000:2000 Standard.

Monthly Forum (½ DAY)

It is a discussion and experience-sharing forum designed for organizations that were registered in the ISO 9000 Advanced Training Program. It includes an interactive Q&A session, new development trends of ISO 9000 and current topics.
